Ajoy Bose PhD, Chairman, President and CEO
Dr. Bose founded Atrenta, Inc. in 2001. He began his career at AT&T Bell Laboratories in Murray Hill, N.J. and spent 12 years in a series of increasingly responsible positions ending as Department Head, Integrated Circuit Design Automation Department. From AT&T, he moved to Cadence Design Systems where he served as Vice President of Engineering. In this role, he managed and led the team that pioneered the Verilog simulation products. Prior to establishing Atrenta, Dr. Bose was founder and president of Software & Technologies, Inc. and Interra, Inc. During his tenure as Chairman and CEO of Interra, Dr. Bose incubated and spun out a number of successful ventures in EDA, Digital Video, and IT services. Dr. Bose received a Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Kanpur, India which recently awarded him the Distinguished Alumni award. He earned his MS and PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin. |

Brian Ascher, Venrock
Brian is currently general partner at Venrock. He joined Venrock in 1998 as a Kauffman Fellow, after holding marketing and product marketing positions at Intuit, Inc. He had responsibility for launching several versions of the market-leading software product Quicken and the Quicken.com website. The job led to a passion for the user experience for Brian, one that he continually applies to consumer ventures. He also brings strategic consulting knowledge gained at the Monitor Group and investment banking experience from Robertson, Stephens & Company to his portfolio companies. Brian serves on the boards of ADiFY, DATAllegro, Inc., Intercasting Corporation, OurStory, Simple Star, Inc., T3Ci, Vocera Communications and Winery Exchange, Inc. He earned his B.A. from Princeton University, Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude, and his M.B.A. from Stanford University Graduate School of Business. |

Michael L. Hackworth
Mike Hackworth is a Co-founder and currently Chairman of the Board of Cirrus Logic, Inc. He serves as an "Advisor to Entrepreneurs" at a number of semiconductor and electronic design automation based startups. He also serves on the Board of Directors of Read-Rite Corp. and Virage Logic Corp., as well as several private company boards. Before joining Cirrus Logic, Hackworth spent 14 years at Signetics Corp., a subsidiary of N.V. Philips, where he held various management positions. Prior to joining Signetics (now Philips Semiconductors), he served in a number of general management, marketing and sales management positions at Motorola and Fairchild Semiconductor. Hackworth holds a degree in engineering from Santa Clara University. |

Dirk Schmucking, Investcorp Technology Ventures
Dirk Schmucking is a Principal at Investcorp for the technology venture capital group, based in London. Previously, he was a Principal at General Atlantic in Dusseldorf, Germany. Dirk started his career at Infineon Technologies as a program manager for high-speed communication ICs. At Investcorp, he focuses on investments in the semiconductor, electronics and communications industries. Dirk holds an MBA from INSEAD and a Dr.-Ing. (PhD) in Electrical Engineering from Technical University, Munich. |

Jose Suarez, Investor Growth Capital
Jose Suarez is a managing director of Investor Growth Capital, the wholly owned venture capital arm of Investor AB. Investor is the largest publicly listed industrial holding company in the Nordic region. Investor was founded in 1916, and is traded on the Stockholm exchange. Since its formation in the mid-1990s, Investor Growth Capital has invested in high-quality, growth-oriented companies, primarily in the information technology and healthcare industries, in North America, Northern Europe, Japan and China. Suarez joined Investor AB's Asian operations in 1997 and is now based in IGCs Menlo Park, California office, where he focuses on the semiconductor, semiconductor infrastructure, and out-sourcing sectors. He currently serves as a director on the boards of Atrenta Inc., Chelsio Communications, eSilicon Corporation, Innovative Micro Technology, Magnum Semiconductor, and Millennium Microtech. Suarez has a B.A. in Asian Studies from Dartmouth College. |

Wm. Blake Winchell, Partner Ventures
In addition to being the Managing Director of Partner Ventures, Blake is the Managing General Partner of Fremont Ventures, the private equity growth-capital fund of the Fremont Group. Fremont Ventures was named by EE Times as one of the top 10 venture funds in the US for electronics startups. Blake joined Bain & Company in 1978, and was one of the founders of Bain's San Francisco office . In 1983, he joined the Brae Corporation division of Leucadia National Corporation (NYSE - LUK) as VP of Strategic Planning, and subsequently founded and managed the acquisition group for Leucadia. He graduated from Dartmouth College in 1975 as a Rufus Choate Scholar with a BA in English and Economics where he was awarded the Henley Economics Award. Blake received his MBA from the Stanford University Graduate School of Business in 1979 and is a Certified Public Accountant. Blake is a member of the World President's Organization, on the Advisory Board of the J. David Gladstone Institutes where he chairs the Steering Committee, and the International Advisory Board of the Instituto de Empresa in Madrid, Spain, one of Europe's leading business schools. Blake is also on the boards of eSilicon and Adara Venture Partners. |
